Rojda Aykoç
née "Kadriye Şenses", (1978 - ), is a contemporary Kurdish singer. She was born in the village of "Tutun a Misirca" in the province of Siirt in southeasternTurkish Kurdistan [ [http://www.rojdarojda.com/ku/kurtejiyan.asp Short Autobiography] , Rojda's Official Website.] . After finishing primary school, she moved toIstanbul in1991 and began working and singing in local music bands along with her brother "Çiya". From1993 she began working with "Navenda Çanda Mezopotamya" (Mesopotamia Cultural Center) and "Koma Gulên Xerzan" music bands.
