Colwyn Bay Rugby Football Club (Welsh: Clwb Rygbi Bae Colwyn) is a rugby union team from the town of Colwyn Bay, North Wales. Colwyn Bay RFC is a member of the Welsh Rugby Union and is a feeder club for the Llanelli Scarlets. [2]

The club has a long history with rugby played before 1900, though the first officially recorded match was in 1923 against a Chester XV. The club's early history is interwound with that of Rydal School who laid the foundations and supplied early players of the club. Colwyn Bay RFC's most famous player, Wilfred Wooller, is often credited with playing only for Rydal School and his Colwyn Bay games ignored.

In 2008, Colwyn Bay were losing finalist against Ruthin in the North Wales Cup.[3]
