"Cancer starri" is a species of extinct crab from the Early Miocene. Specimens of this species have been found in the Clallam Formation and the underlying Pysht Formation on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. this species lived with several other crab genera and a mud shrimp of the "Callianassa" genus. This species has been assigned to the "Cancer" subgenus "Metacarcinus" by the describing authors.
