Bill Bridges is a role-playing game developer and author. Bridge's most measurable contributions to the game were his "Alustro's Journals" a series of Marco Polo style travel logs featuring the travels of the pilgril Alustro and his companions as they moved from one area to another. He was also the primary author of the War in the Heaven's series which revealed the secrets of the Symbiots and the Vau respectively. Minor literary similarities can be seen between the pro-environmental Symbiots and the 'defenders of Gaia' among the Garou in Werewolf the Apocalypse. Another common theme includes the deeper mysteries implied in the setting over the battle of fate and free will (in Fading Suns this manifest through the proxy war the Ananaki fight through Vau influence whereas in Werewolf: The Apocalypse it shows itself through the conflict between arch-spirits Wyrm, Weaver and Wyld.

His work for other companies include writing for Chaosium, and development for the ' and ' role-playing games for Last Unicorn Games.
