Elizabeth A. Okoreeh-Baah

Captain Elizabeth A. Okoreeh-Baah (b. 1978) is an officer in the United States Marine Corps and on March 13, 2006, she became the first female to pilot the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft.

Biography

Okoreeh-Baah grew up in Tennessee and is a 2000 graduate of the United States Naval Academy. She flew the CH-46 Sea Knight in HMM-263, transferring to the Osprey with the unit's redesignation to VMM-263.
