One of the largest and the oldest schools of the state Gujarat and is also famous by the name "Shantiniketan of the Western India"

The Campus is 72 Acres in area. It contains kindergarten to 12th grade schools, a Fine arts College, a GBTC and PTC college (college for training teachers) a Derasar (Jain place of worship) as well as various farms and hostels.

The School is named after Sheth Chimanlal Nagindas, father of Shree Indumatiben who were Education Minister of India in 1968 and founder of this school.

About the school

At the entrance of the spacious two-storey building of the High School, stand two beautiful sculptures of the Goddess Saraswati and Pragna Paramita.

A co-educational K through 12 educational institution:Separate buildings for Kindergarten, Junior-High and High School

The school was selected as a multipurpose school for fine arts under the Government of India scheme. Students at early age are encouraged to learn personal discipline and responsibility to the society.
