Kew Bridge railway station (N&SWJR)

Kew Bridge railway station was a station in West London opened by the North & South Western Junction Railway in 1862, which served passenger and goods trains until it closed in 1940. The track it was on forms part of a triangle connecting the North London Line with the Hounslow Loop Line and is used mostly by goods trains. A few remnants of the old station still remain. [ [http://www.abandonedstations.org.uk/ London's Abandoned Tube Stations ] ] It is not to be confused with Kew Bridge railway station, an existing station that opened in 1850 and is adjacent to the former station.
