Sir John Acland, 3rd Baronet

Sir John Acland, 3rd Baronet (c1636 – 1655), was the second son of Sir John Acland, 1st Baronet and Elizabeth Vincent.

He succeeded his elder brother as 3rd Baronet Acland, of Columb John on the latter's death in 1649. On his death in 1655 he was succeeded in the baronetcy by his son.

Family

He married Margaret Rolle, daughter of Dennis Rolle and Margaret Poulett, (c1654), and had issue:
*Margaret Acland (d.1691), married John Arundell, 2nd Baron Arundell of Trerice (1675)
*Sir Arthur Acland, 4th Baronet (c1655-1672)
