Ed J. Pinegar

Ed J. Pinegar (born 1935) is a Latter-day Saint author, educator and leader. His wife is Patricia P. Pinegar, a leader in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).

Ed J. Pinegar received his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University (BYU) and his degree in dentistry from the University of Southern California. [Rodger Dean Duncan and Ed J. Pinegar has served as president of th Provo Missionary Training Center (1988–1991) ["Church News", March 19, 1988.] , director of the Orem Institute of Religion, a religion professor at BYU, an LDS Church stake patriarch, the first president of the BYU 20th Stake from 1999 to 2004. ["Church News", October 20, 1999.] and as a LDS Church seminary teacher. Pinegar has also served on the general board of the LDS Church's Young Men organization, as a bishop (twice), and as the president of the England London South Mission.
