Kristina Abrahamsdotter

Kristina Abrahamsdotter (Finnish:Kristiina Abrahamintytär), (1432-1492), was a Finnish noblewoman, royal mistress and later third wife and queen consort of King Charles VIII of Sweden.

Kristina Abrahamsdotter is believed to have ben the daughter of Abraham Pedersson, governor of Raseborg, though this have not ben confirmed. The ex-King Charles of Sweden got to know her during his exile in Finland after 1457, and when he returned to Sweden and reclaimed the Swedish throne in 1464, she followed him there as royal mistress. In 1465, they had a son together. In 1470, the last year of his life, Charles married Kristina, and she thereby became queen and her son became legitimate. It is not known exactly when they married. The same year, she became a widow. Her fate after the death of Charles is unknown.
