Virtual CSR

Virtual CSR (VCSR) is a technology company that provides call handling applications (including Speech Recognition, IVR, and Desktop Integration Applications) and agent automation Virtual CSR is known for its speech recognition and data capture applications that power some of the world's largest automated telephone applications. Virtual CSR has engineering and development offices in the Silicon Valley area of California, and their current worldwide headquarters is located in Los Angeles, California in the United States.

Virtual CSR recognized that most all automation applications (IVR, ASR etc) and tools were designed to shed a percentage of call volume. Virtual CSR’s Call Handling Applications has taken an enormous step beyond, by not only shedding more calls, but by impacting the time a live agent needs to complete a call. Virtual CSR allows call center operations to significantly increase their call volume capability with the same infrastructure, and/or handle their current call volume with a large reduction in staffing.

Company History

Gerrit Lydecker Jr and Charlie D. Reynolds co-founded Virtual CSR in 2005. Virtual CSR is a spinoff from Tellinfo, Inc. (previously Voice Access Technologies), a company that focused primarily on complete self service applications, including product warranty and registrations for companies like Equifax. Virtual CSR was founded on the concept of creating a platform that not only self serviced calls, but reduced the cost of every call that touched the Virtual CSR platform by developing a data sharing vehicle that could pass data to virtually any agent in any environment or location.

Services

Virtual CSR has two primary product offerings;

Speech Recognition and Data Capture Applications (Virtual CSR's - Virtual Customer Service Representatives)
