Robert Carmine Zampano

Robert Carmine Zampano (b. March 18, 1928 New Haven, CT, d. January 12, 2004, New Haven, CT) was a Federal Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. He has served on the court from 1964 to 1994. Judge Zampano received a B.A. from Yale University in 1951 and an LL.B. from Yale Law School, in 1954. He was nominated by Lyndon B. Johnson on August 4, 1964, to a seat vacated by Robert P. Anderson, confirmed by the Senate on August 15, 1964, and received his commission on August 15, 1964. He assumed senior status on June 1, 1977. His service terminated on April 1, 1994, due to retirement.
