Leroy Loggins (born December 20, 1957 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States) is a former professional basketball player in the Australian National Basketball League from 1981 to the 2000/2001 season.

Early career

Loggins attended Fairmont State University in the US and was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 8th round of the NBA Draft in 1980 but only managed limited minutes in four appearances. In 1981 Loggins joined the Brisbane Bullets in his first NBL season, but left the club after one season to play for the West Adelaide Bearcats in 1982. After a successful stint with the Bearcats (including winning his first championship), Loggins returned to the Bullets.

Return to Bullets

He would then play out the remainder of his career even captaining the Bullets from 1990 through till his retirement. As an Australian citizen, Loggins also competed for the Australian men's basketball team, the Boomers, in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.

Loggins would eventually retire after 21 seasons in the NBL at the end of the 2000/01 season despite still being an integral part of the Bullets lineup at 43 years of age. The number 30 jersey worn by Loggins throughout his career has been retired by the Bullets in his honour.

In total, he played 567 games in the Australian NBL, which is the second highest behind Andrew Gaze. He also scored 13106 points during his career, at an average of 23.11 a game. He also grabbed 3897 rebounds in his career, another Top 10 in the league achievement.
