Hywel Dda NHS Trust

The Hywel Dda NHS Trust ( _cy. Ymddiriedolaeth GIG Hywel Dda) is an NHS Trust in Wales which became operational on 1 April 2008 [http://www.opsi.gov.uk/legislation/wales/wsi2008/wsi_20080712_en_1] replacing Carmarthenshire NHS Trust, Ceredigion & Mid Wales NHS Trust and Pembrokeshire & Derwen NHS Trust. [http://www.westerntelegraph.co.uk/mostpopular.var.2060180.mostcommented.nhs_to_trust_in_hywel.php] The trust is named in honour of historic south west Wales king Hywel Dda. The present interim Chief Executive is Martin Turner.
