Julian Budden

Julian Medforth Budden (born 9 April 1924; died 28 February 2007) was a British opera scholar, radio producer and broadcaster. He is particularly known for his three volume on the operas of Verdi (published in 1973, 1978, & 1981), and a single volume biography in 1982; followed by a single volume work on Puccini in 2002.
