Packard Proving Grounds Gateway Complex

Packard Proving Grounds Gateway Complex is a complex where ships and boats are tested for seaworthiness. The complex was opened in the early 1970's and has been expanded three times since, the latest time in 1998. While the original construction of the complex was government-funded, the proving grounds are currently privately-owned the BASF corporation being on of the major shareholders.
