Bummers Gang

The Bummers Gang was an eastern outlaw gang that operated in Haddington, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania between 1855 to 1860, led by Graham "Tex" Samuel Snr he also had a sidekick who went by the name of Eddie The Shooter Coleman.

The Bummers began raiding the area of Haddington Village in the mid-1850s, continuing until a vigilante committee of ten local townspeople, which included Ally Tombstone Allen, was formed by the local sheriff, Chris Bones Mccoy, in 1860.

The suspected gang members were arrested on minor charges and then promptly lynched. The lynchings continued until the remaining members of the gang had fled the area. Tex's descendants still live in the Haddington area.
