Franz-Josef Deiters

Franz-Josef Deiters (born 13 October 1964) is a German-Australian literary critic and theorist from Schermbeck, Germany. [http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franz-Josef_Deiters] After studying German literature and philosophy he taught German literature at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen (Germany) from 1993 to 2006, where, in 1993, he earned his MA, and, in 1997, he received his Dr. phil. (PhD). In 2004, he got his Habilitation in "Modern German Literature". After visiting professorships at the University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt/M. (Germany), he moved to Melbourne in October 2006 where he has since been living together with his partner, the theatre director and author André Bastian. Deiters' areas of research include the German literature from the 18th century to the present, literary theory, especially the theory of authorship, the cultural history of literary pseudonyms, the theory and history of drama and theatre, the intersection of literature and philosophy, the narratives of work as well as some aspects of media theory.
