Tommy Dunderdale (May 6, 1887 - December 15, 1960) was a Canadian professional ice hockey forward. He played for the Quebec Bulldogs, Victoria Cougars, Portland Rosebuds, and Saskatoon Crescents, among others. He was a member of the 1916 Portland Rosebuds Stanley Cup champions. Born in Benalla, Australia, he became the first and so far only Australian-born player to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame when he was inducted in 1974.

Playing career

Tommy Dunderdale grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He played ice hockey for the Winnipeg Ramblers amateur team in 1905. He turned professional the next year with the Winnipeg Strathconas with whom he played three seasons. In 1909, he travelled east to join the Montreal Shamrocks in the 1909–10 season when the Shamrocks played in both the CHA and NHA. He next joined the Quebec Bulldogs for a season before returning out west with the Victoria Aristocrats of the new Pacific Coast Hockey Association. He would stay in the PCHA or its successor the West Coast Hockey League until retiring after the 1923–24 season.
