"The Euphrates Collection" is the 2006 album of Iraqi Canadian band Euphrates, with front MC The Narcicyst. It appeared as a double-album which contained the trio's first and only two albums originally entitled "A Bend in the River" and "Stereotypes Incorporated" from 2003 and 2004 respectively.The Euphrates originally consisted of the producer duo Sandhill, which were Habilis and Nofy Fanan, two biological brothers. The MC is The Narcicyst aka Narcy aka Jamal Abdul, among many other monikers. All three are of Iraqi origin, but lived in the United Arab Emirates as children before their families emigrated to Montreal, Canada.Nofy Fanan was a victim of a speeding taxi in November 2004. He died of his injuries. The two remaining artists continue to make music under their individual names Sandhill and Narcicyst.
