Deutz Geldermann

Deutz Geldermann

Deutz Geldermann was a Champagne bottler and producer based in Ay, Marne, in the Champagne region of France. Founded in 1838 and run by successive generations of the Deutz and Geldermann families, the company now trades under the name Deutz.

Since 1993, the estate has been been part of the Louis Roederer portfolio of wineries, which also include the Bordeaux wine estate of Château de Pez. [B. By 1997, the estate wasn't producing the financial results that Deutz and Beringer were expecting and their interest in the company was sold to the Californian winemaker who rebranded the wine as "Laetitia".
