The Majestic Theatre, Detroit

The Majestic Theatre, Detroit

The Majestic Theatre in Detroit is located at 4120 Woodward in midtown Detroit.

The Majestic Theatre is a venue that houses the Majestic Theatre in the basement, the Majestic Cafe, a bowling alley called Garden Bowl, a pizza restaurant called Sgt. Pepperoni's, and a smaller music venue upstairs called the Magic Stick.

The legendary magician Harry Houdini gave his last performance on stage here, on Halloween night 1926. He died a few days later of peritonitis at Detroit's old Grace Hospital. Today, expect a loud, youthful crowd at most events.
