"Scarrie! the Musical" is a stage spoof of the Brian DePalma film Carrie and the Broadway musical of the same name written by David Cerda. The play was first staged under the title "s'Carrie! The Musical" at the Sweetcorn Playhouse in Andersonville, Illinois, it was so successful that it ran for a year and a half. It was later amended and re-staged by Hell in a Handbag Productions in Chicago in 2005. A cast recording featuring the cast of the second staging is available on Handbag's official website.
