Ross McFarlane (born 6 December 1961 in Glasgow), is a former Scottish football defender.

McFarlane started his career with Queens Park. He made over 100 appearances for the club before joining Clyde in 1983.

McFarlane is best known for his time at Clyde. He was a huge favourite with the fans, and spent several years as the club captain. McFarlane is also the only player to have played for Clyde in four different home grounds. He played for the club at their old home, Shawfield Stadium, then at Douglas Park and Firhill Stadium during Clyde's years groundsharing with Hamilton Academical and Partick Thistle, and then finally Clyde's new home, Broadwood Stadium. Strangely, despite having played over 400 games in all competitions, McFarlane never scored a goal for Clyde.

He rejoined Queens Park during the 1994-95 season, due to work commitments.

McFarlane now works for RBS Invoice Finance in Feltham.
