WKOE (106.7 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Country format. Licensed to North Cape May, New Jersey, USA, the station serves the Cape May-Atlantic City area. The station is currently owned by Coastal Broadcasting Systems, Inc. and features programing from Westwood One. WSJQ also serves coastal Delaware and the Ocean City, MD area as a secondary market. Often WSJQ has higher ratings in Ocean City, MD than it's home market of Atlantic City-Cape May.

History

The station went on the air as WIFB on 1992-07-30. on 1993-04-01, the station changed its call sign to WJNN, on 2001-06-08 to WDOX, on 2005-04-14 to the current WSJQ, [ cite web|url=http://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/pubacc/prod/call_hist.pl?Facility_id=72113&Callsign=WSJQ |title=WSJQ Call Sign History |work=United States Federal Communications Commission, audio division ] It was formally known as WDOX, which was a rock station. In 2005, the station started to add more Pop titles to the rock playlist of WDOX, which was making it a Rock-CHR type station. Then in 2005 it flipped to CHR-Pop going head to head with Adult Top 40 95.1 WAYV. It's new competitor is 99.3 The Buzz, WZBZ-FM which has just become 99.3 Kiss FM as a mainstream CHR-Pop station in 2008.

Q107 - #1 for all the hits went off the air on Thursday September 18th, 2008.
