Simpson River (British Columbia)

Simpson River, in Kootenay National Park flowing through Simpson Valley is a tributary of Vermilion River.

Fed by the North Simpson River, Surprise Creek, Lachine Creek, Verdant Creek, etc.

Simpson River is named for Sir George Simpson who first visited the area in 1841.
