Patrick Blake Judd (b. June 13, 1981 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky), anative of Greensburg, Kentucky, is an independent filmmaker whocurrently resides in Lexington, Kentucky.

Biography

Early life

Blake was raised in rural Greensburg, Kentucky where he spent most of his life playing basketball. He started playing on the varsity team in 7th grade and was a four year starter and three time all-region player. He continued playing ball in college at Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky and started the first game in the school's new gymnasium The Beck Center on January 2, 2002. Judd graduated in 2005 with a major in English and Business and Computer Science minors.

Film Career

Judd started his filmmaking career working on a late night television show The Moonlight Cafe with friend and creator Jacob Ennis in 2005 in Lexington, Kentucky with guests including Lloyd Kauffman, Hank Williams III, Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, and Keith Neltner. Judd is most well known for working on the feature documentary "Seven Signs" with JD Wilkes, the lead singer of rock band Th' Legendary Shack Shakers. Like Wilkes, Judd is also a Kentucky Colonel which though not a military officer is accorded to Kentucky's stars and notable citizens by the governor. Judd has worked on several music videos including a video for Tonya Watts which features Waylon Payne and addresses the homeless issue in Nashville called "Cumberland Angels." He has also had cameos on The Moonlight Cafe and in cult films Stash, directed by Jacob Ennis, and It Came From Trafalgar which stars Gunnar Hanson, Hank Williams III, JD Wilkes, Jesco White, and a host of others.

Currently Judd is working on two projects for Hank WIlliams III via his production company JuddFilms including a live DVD/documentary and a short documentary project on the reinstatement of Hank Williams Sr. in The Grand Ole Opry. The two projects feature the likes of David Allan Coe, Phillip Anselmo, Henry Rollins, Ron Jeremy, Unknown Hinson, Dale Watson, and many other friends, fans, and players involved with Hank III and his grandfather. He is also finishing up the live DVD for Th' Legendary Shack Shakers and a "making of" short documentary for London, England rock band Saint Jude.
