Warsash Maritime Academy (formerly Warsash Maritime Centre) is a maritime training college and is part of Southampton Solent University. The courses on offer cover a wide range of maritime education and training from deck and engineer officer cadetships, including degree pathways, to senior officer certificates of competency, together with the associated safety training. The campus is dedicated to the needs of mariners and provides a supportive learning environment that gives students the best possible chance to succeed.

History

Warsash Maritime Academy was founded over 60 years ago and has, in recent years, benefited from being part of Southampton Solent University.

Accommodation

The college has three main areas for accommodation:
* Hamblemeads
* Amber Blyth
* Shackleton

All phase 1 cadets are required to stay in either Blyth or Shakelton accommodation blocks; although some senior cadets in later phases may be required/able to move into one of the main student hall complexes at Southampton Solent University.
