Douglas Bay Horse Tramway fleet

Douglas Bay Horse Tramway fleet

Since originally opening in 1876 the horse tramway that operates along the promenades at Douglas on the Isle of Man has been maintained by a fleet of various types of car which can be summarised accordingly. In the early years of operation several cars were rebuilt as double/single deck cars and/or replaced with respective fleet numbers being used by newer vehicles, which accounts for several numbers appearing twice on different cars.
