Programming

The station features "Big Mike" as the morning jock, who hosts weekdays and also hosts a smooth jazz program on Sundays. Rick Gary, formerly the morning host at rival WYYY, hosts afternoons, and other dayparts include Steve Kelley (middays), Ted Bradford (evenings), Anna Day and Keith Kobland (weekends). Only one syndicated program airs on WZUN, Backtrax USA.

The station is one of a select few stations (KOSY-FM in Salt Lake City and WLIT in Chicago being among the others) that regularly changes its format to Christmas music in the beginning of November, as opposed to the week before Thanksgiving as its competitors do.

WZUN streams its programming on the Internet. It briefly stopped in 2007 after legal changes but has since resumed.
