David Vestal

David Vestal

David Vestal (born 1924) is an American photographer, critic, and teacher, of the New York School.[1] He was the recipient of John Simon Guggenheim Fellowships in 1966 and 1973.[2] Vestal's publications include The Art of Black and White Enlarging (1984)[3] and The Craft of Photography.[4] His column, "Vestal at Large," is a regular feature in "Photo Techniques Magazine."[5]
