The Warner Roadshow Studios are a set of film production facilities location near the Gold Coast in Australia. The Studios opened June 3rd 1991 and is located adjacent to the
Warner Bros. Movie World , however despite their physical proximity and operational links, the two are separate entities.
The theme park, and the Studios' management have no involvement with productions and, as such, do not recommend cast, crew or extras. This is done independently by the production. However, experienced Warner Bros. Movie World staff are often involved in productions filmed at the studios. The studios are not open to the general public and as the productions are independently owned, permission to go on-set can only be obtained from the production itself.
The facility houses 8 sound stages, one indoor water tank, two indoor tanks one being the largest purpose built film water tank in Australia, 10 production areas, construction workshops, onsite support facilities, 2 wardrobe and laundry facilities, accounting services, screening and editing, preview theatrette, visual effects studio, film processing, post production, travel and freight services, and much more.
The Studios have been home to countless feature films, telemovies, TV series and mini series. Recent productions have included the international box office hitScooby-Doo , starring Freddy Prince Jnr and Sarah Michelle Gellar. The opening of Fox Studios in late 1999 has allowed for greater diversity of filming in Australia. Warner Roadshow Studios and Fox Studios are able to complement each other, offering a wider range of production facilities.Films

# In January 2006 it was announced by Warner Roadshow studio owners Village Theme Park Management and Warner World Australia that they were suing special effects expert David Fletcher and Wax Productions because of a fire on the set during production which destroyed a whole studio.
