Mardela Middle and High School (MMHS) is a seven-year public middle school / high school in Mardela Springs, Wicomico County, Maryland, United States. It is one of four public high schools in Wicomico County along with James Bennett High School, Wicomico High School and Parkside High School.

Overview

The school is located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the town of Mardela Springs in Wicomico County. The school is on Maryland Route 54, east of Maryland Route 313 and just north of U.S. 50. Mardela Springs is between the Eastern Shore towns of Vienna and Salisbury.

The school population has been steadily increasing. In 2007 the school was near its 12-year high enrollment with 704 students, two less than were enrolled in 2006. The school has nearly 70% more students than in 1993.

*Marine Staff Sgt. Walter F. Cohee III, Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361 (HMH-361), the "Flying Tigers" of Marine Aircraft Group 16, Combined Task Force 58, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar, California. Died in Afghanistan on January 19, 2002.
