Fuad al Muqtadir (Bangla: ফুয়াদ আল মুক্তাদির) (born 1980), also known as New York Fuad is a popular Bangladeshi musician. Fuad has copied the music for a number of his most popular songs from various artists from around the world. Sometimes he puts arabi music on Nazrul sangit.Even he copys music with foreign language vocal [arabi/china/japan/etc] on his songs.

Fuad left Bangladesh for the USA in 1988 at the age of eight and started junior high school there. He was always on and off music and finally formed the band Zefyr in 1993 with Richard Modhu, Himel, Shumon and Fred. They recorded several tracks and before disbanding in 1999, released the albums Maya 1 and 2, which became overnight hits within the New York Bangladesh community.

His first record, drifting away from his niche target group, was Re/Evolution. With the help of Sohel Aziz, keyboardist from the band Obscure, the album came out in collaboration with plenty of mainstream and underground musicians featuring 14 tracks with some great remixes and originals. Kaniz Shuborna’s Ei Poth, Litu’s Sylhoti, Anila’s Jhil Mil, Armeen’s Bhromor Koiyo and the re-mixed track, Mon Chaile Mon became instant hits. This was a huge success and, came out as one of the best selling albums of 2005.

In addition, Fuad’s Variation No. 25 in 2006 was the most creative record produced till date, according to his many fans. Later in 2006, two songs were added and the CD was re-released as Variation No. 25.2 jointly by G-Series and Aarshee. The tracks, Nobina by Poonam, Nitol Paye by Rajib/Fuad jointly and Bappa Mazumder’s Kono Asroy became over night hits and gave the compilation a massive success.

Fuad’s Bonno in 2007 was the biggest hit of his career, according to his many fans. It Was Released By G-Series . The tracks, Tor Jonno Ami Bonno by Upol, Bonno Rap By Fuad/Bishop , Junglee by Fuad , Da Dushto Number , Nitol Paye (LIVE) , were instant hits ... Tor Jonno By Upol Is A Golden Hit .. Like Nitol Paye [copied from Jab Bhi Koi Kangna Bole- from Shaukeeen] .. it can be heard all the time on the radio ... this album was the best seller of 2007 .. the song " Bonno RAP " was massively popular amongst the rich young peoples of thins generation ..

Fuad Also Worked On .. Three Different Album .. An Album Featuring Sumon & Anila " Ekhon Ami " .. Mila's " Chapter 2 " .. And Topu's ( Yaatri's VOCAL )" Bondhu Bhabo Ki ?" .. all of the albums are best-sellers .. and proved fuads popularity in Bangladesh again .

Fuad is also extremely popular outside of BANGLADESH .. his music often sounds like American music.American music with Bangladeshi feel.

Fuad is currently working on Albums featuring Mila, Kona, Shuvo, Maher, Rafa, Aurthohin, Shireen, and others which will be released around 2008.
