The cabinet of Ralph Klien was
Executive Council ofAlberta from 1992 until 2006.The Executive Council (commonly known as the
cabinet ) was made up of members of theAlberta Progressive Conservative Party which held a majority of seats in theLegislative Assembly of Alberta . The cabinet was appointed by theLieutenant Governor of Alberta on the advice of the Premier. Members of the council are styled "the Honourable" only for the duration of their membership, not for life.Klien's las cabinet was sworn in on
November 24 ,2004 following the 26th Alberta general election. There was acabinet shuffle on April 6, 2006 to fill vacancies caused byLyle Oberg 's dismissal andEd Stelmach 's resignation.Members are listed in
order of precedence .1 The caucus liaisons were included for the first time on
November 24 ,2004 . They do not hold portfolios but do attend cabinet to express the views ofbackbenchers .External links
