French ship America (1788)

The "America" was a "Téméraire" class 74-gun ship of the line of the French Navy.

She took part in the Battle of the Glorious First of June, where she was captured by HMS "Leviathan". She was subsequently renamed HMS "Impétueux", and broken up in 1813.
