"A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court" is a 1949 musical comedy film (though produced in early 1948) adaptation of the Mark Twain novel of the same name that was distributed by Paramount Pictures. It starred Bing Crosby as an American mechanic who is knocked out and wakes up in the land of King Arthur, where he finds romance with Alisande La Carteloise, played by Rhonda Fleming, and danger with Merlin and Morgan Le Fay.

All music by Jimmy Van Heusen, lyrics by Johnny Burke. The orchestral score was written by longtime Paramount staff composer Victor Young, who also conducted the orchestra for many of Crosby's Decca Records recordings.
