Digital television in South Korea

After a long controversy between the government and broadcasters in South Korea, ATSC was chosen over DVB-T. Since 2005, digital services have been available across the entire country. At least 10 hours of HD content are required to be broadcast on a weekly basis during the first year of commercial digital service.fact|date=November 2007
