The Patch Bay is a professional networking association geared toward helping new college graduates of the audio discipline obtain education and experience as professional audio engineers. [http://www.thepatchbay.com/patchbay.html]

The Patch Bay provides educational and networking services to its members, including educational seminars led by recording engineers and professional recording studios in and around the greater Los Angeles area. [ [http://www.thepatchbay.com/services.html The Patch Bay - Services We Provide ] ]

Through its educational programs, the Patch Bay is transforming the entry level experience of being a recording engineer. By shifting the hiring emphasis from a game of survival in Los Angeles to a merit based system, The Patch Bay has interviewed and placed deserving and committed new college graduates in professional audio environments, resulting in a higher standard of quality in the music industry.

The Patch Bay was founded in 2007 by Eric Markow, a graduate of California State University, Chico.
