Marinko Mačkić (born March 28, 1983 in Banja Luka) is a Bosnian football player currently playing for Saba Battery F.C. in Iran. He usually plays the defender position.

Career

Marinko begin his senior career in Serbia playing in FK Mladost Lučani and a six months spell in FK Vojvodina. Before moving to Iran, he played at his hometown club FK Borac Banja Luka and also in FK Sarajevo in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He has played for Bosnia and Herzegovina national under-21 football team twice, and has also been called to play for the Bosnian national team but have not debuted yet.
