James Albert Duffy

Bishop James Albert Duffy was the first bishop for the Diocese of Grand Island (formerly diocese of Kearney) in Nebraska. [CathEncy|wstitle=Diocese of Kearney (Nebraska)]

He was ordained on 27 May, 1893, and appointed to Grand Island on 25 January, 1913. [CathEncy|wstitle=Diocese of Kearney (Nebraska)] He remained its bishop until 1931, after which he became Titular Bishop of Silandus.
