The Chetverikov ARK-3 was a patrol flying boat built in the Soviet Union in the late 1930s for operation in Arctic waters. It featured a conventional flying boat hull, with high cantilever wings equipped with floats at mid-span. The two engines were mounted in tractor-pusher fashion on a pylon above the fuselage. Production was halted after two aircraft broke up due to structural failure, with only seven examples having been built.
