- Black Hills Run
The Black Hills Run is a route from
Deadwood, South Dakota to Custer State Park,South Dakota , across theBlack Hills , favored by motorcycle riders. It reached the height of its popularity between 1939 and 1941. The popularity of theSturgis Motorcycle Rally in nearbySturgis, South Dakota attracted additional attention to the route in recent years.The Pine forested mountains of the Black Hills makes for a unique scenic motorcycle ride.
In the U.S.A. most motorcyclists know of the region and will experience the marvelous roads scenery at least once in their lifetime.
The Sturgis S.D. motorcycle rally attracts hordes of motorcycle enthusiasts to the Black Hills region. The roads can become extremely crowded with "bikers" during early August every year.
