List of organizations in Alex Rider

This is a list of all organizations and groups from the series of "Alex Rider" books by Anthony Horowitz.

A

ASIS

The Australian Secret Intelligence Service is the Australian equivalent of MI6 or CIA. Like both of these, ASIS often blackmails and tricks its own agents into being trained or tested on their skills.

F

Force Three

Force Three was a supposed "eco-terrorist" group that appeared in "Ark Angel". It was created by Nikolei Drevin to help cover up his true plan for the Ark Angel space hotel; it was to explode and land on The Pentagon, where a case against him was being pieced together. Force Three's leader was Kaspar, or Magnus Payne, who had his face covered in a tattoo of the Earth. The organization destroyed a car factory and paid journalists to write articles warning of Force Three, then killed them, attempting to show the ruthlessness of the "organization". All Force Three members (except Kaspar) were killed by Nikolei Drevin after he no longer needed them. Kaspar was killed by Alex Rider on the Ark Angel space station.

M

MI6

MI6 is the organization which Alex Rider works for. Despite being a protagonist company, MI6 often blackmails people into working for them. MI6 has also had dealings with SCORPIA. As Ash told Alex in "Snakehead", MI6 criticized him enough to drive him into becoming an antagonist himself.

Outside the Alex Rider world, MI6 is a real organization.

CORPIA

SCORPIA stands for Sabotage, Corruption, Intelligence, and Assassination. SCORPIA will work for anyone who is willing to pay, and almost always achieve their goal.
Chronologically, they first appear in "Stormbreaker", supplying Herod Sayle with the virus in the computers, although they were not mentioned at the time.
Their first proper appearance was in "Scorpia", where they planned to wipe out thousands of schoolchildren using a weapon called Invisible Sword, which involved gold plated nanoshells containing cyanide being injected into the children. Alex Rider defeats them, killing their head of the current project, Julia Rothman. They take revenge on Alex by hiring a sniper to shoot him.
Alex survived the bullet and went on to encounter SCORPIA again in "Snakehead". In his second encounter, they are paid in uncut diamonds to destroy Reef Encounter, a conference to help promote an end to poverty. SCORPIA are paid by a member of G8, which is occurring around the same time. Due to this occurring in Australia, Winston Yu, with his connections to Snakehead (based in Asia), takes charge. They plan to use a small bomb, set off along an underwater faultline, to create a tsunami which will wipe out Reef Encounter. Alex once again kills the head of the operation and puts an end to SCORPIA's plans.

Following the demise of Major Winston Yu in "Snakehead", There are now only 6 of the original 12 SCORPIA executive board members remaining. Of the other 6, one died from cancer, three were murdered (Max Grendel and two others), and two (Julia Rothman and Winston Yu) were killed as a result of Alex Rider's actions.

nakehead

Snakehead, lead by Winston Yu, is a terrorist sub-sector of SCORPIA. The organization is paid to carry out acts of terrorism, whose request remain anonymous. It is distrubuted across Asia and Australia, often going under the name of "Chada Trading Company" or "Unwin Toys" (an anagram of "Winston Yu"). It also smuggles out refugees from Middle-Eastern countries.
