Gwernesney is a village in Monmouthshire, south east Wales, United Kingdom.

Location

Gwernesney is located three miles east of Usk on the B4235 road to Chepstow.

History & Amenities

Gwernesney is set in a rural location close to Usk town. The village church is dedicated to St. Michael & All Angels [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/299817] . The village also has a pub [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/168161] . The South Wales Gliding Club operate towed gliders from nearby - often to be seen over the village [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/258298] .
