Priya Cooper (born 2 October 1974 in South Perth, Western Australia) is a world champion disabled swimmer, winning nine Paralympic gold medals as well as world records and world chamionships."W.A. Hall of Champions" inductee booklet. (2006) Published by the Western Australian Institute of Sport p.24] She was born with cerebral palsy.

Her last Games were at Sydney, where she won the 400 m freestyle and took 3 bronze medals in the 100 m freestyle, 4 x 100 m freestyle relay and 4 x 100 m medley relay events. She was awarded an Order of Australia medal in 1992 and was inducted into the Western Australian Hall of Champions in 2006.
