Children of Days of our Lives

The following are characters from the American soap opera "Days of our Lives" who are notable for being the children of important characters.

Cassie Brady

Cassie Brady (prev. DiMera) was portrayed by Alexis Thorpe from 2002 to 2005. Cassie and her twin brother Rex were discovered half-naked during a meteor shower and were originally suspected to be aliens. As time went on it was discovered that they were the children of Tony DiMera and Marlena Evans but this turned out to be false. In reality a sperm sample was somehow taken from Roman Brady during his years of captivity at the hands of Tony's father Stefano DiMera and combined with eggs taken from Kate Roberts who was a prostitute and associate of Stefano's.

When Cassie first arrived in town, she had a crush on her cousin, Shawn Brady. She actively pursued him and eventually kissed him. Then Cassie set her sights on her half-brother Lucas Roberts and almost slept with him before the revelation that he was indeed her half-brother. Cassie was supposedly killed by the Salem Stalker (a mind controlled Marlena) but in reality her death, as well as several other Salem residents, were staged in a plot by Andre DiMera (impersonating Tony). After being rescued by her cellmate Jack Deveraux, her father Roman, and Marlena, Cassie came back to Salem. Her current residence is unknown. She was last mentioned by name on-screen on October 29, 2007, during her half-sister Sami's dream sequence in which all of her family was killed by the DiMeras.

Cassie has one full-sibling, her twin brother Rex. She has three paternal half-sibling who are Carrie, Sami, Eric Brady. She also has 4 maternal half-siblings who are Austin Reed, Billie Reed, Lucas Horton and Philip Kiriakis.

Ciara Brady

Ciara Alice Brady has been portrayed by Dakoda and Danica Hobbs from February 2007- May 2008. From May 2008 onwards, she has been portrayed by Lauren Boles. While grieving for their son, Zach, Hope and Bo Brady found comfort in one another and Ciara was conceived, although it took several months for Hope to learn she was pregnant. When she eventually did learn that she was pregnant, a classic "Who's the daddy?" storyline began. Hope had been to Morgan Island with Patrick Lockhart where in a moment of weakness, found comfort in his arms. Tests were run and it was "determined" Hope's soon to be born child was Patrick's. Unbeknown to Hope and Bo, Patrick had paid the doctor to fix the test. Despite believing Patrick to be the father of her unborn child, Bo and Hope got back together, pushing Patrick to the point he decided he needed to kidnap Hope. On December 292006, Ciara was born in a warehouse, delivered by Bo. Patrick revealed her true paternity before being arrested.

Ciara got her name in an online poll where fans were given the opportunity to vote for a name. Out of the five original choices, narrowed down to three, Ciara Alice Brady was the winner. She has two full siblings, Shawn and Zach Brady and one paternal half-sister, Chelsea Brady.

Zack Brady

Beauregard "Zack" Isaac Theo Brady was portrayed by Jacob and Joshua Rips (June 2000; switched over to portray JT), Alyssa and Lauren Libby (June 2000 to April 2001),Max and Sam Christy (April 2001 to August 2001), and Garrett and Spencer Gray(August 2001 to January 2006; guest appearances March 2006; June 2006). Zach was born June 9, 2000. He was the second of three children of supercouple Bo and Hope Brady. He has three siblings: his older brother Shawn-Douglas Brady, older paternal half-sister Chelsea Brady and a younger sister Ciara Brady who was born almost a year after his death.

Zack died on New Years Day 2006 after being run over by Bo's SUV driven by Chelsea. Upon his death, his liver was donated to his niece Claire Brady and his corneas were donated to Abe Carver; Claire's life was saved and Abe regained his eyesight. Zack's death and the revelation of Chelsea as the SUV driver drove a wedge between Bo and Hope - as well as Chelsea and most of the Brady family - for most of 2006.

Shortly after his death, Zack appeared to both Shawn and Belle in their dreams and told them they belonged together.

Theo Carver

Theodore "Theo" Brandon Carver has been portrayed by Chase and Tyler Johnson (2003 to 2004) and Kavi Faquir (2006 to 2007). Terrell Ransom Jr. (2008- )

Theodore Brandon Carver was born onscreen May 29, 2003 to Lexie and Abe Carver. Theo was considered a miracle by Abe and Lexie having been born more than a decade after the couple wed. He was born on the same day that Abe learned Brandon Walker was also his son. Originally believed to be Brandon's son, a DNA test proved Theo to be Abe's son. Currently the character of Theo Carver is being portrayed by Terrell Ransom Jr. Terrell's first appearance on the show was May 20, 2008. The character Theo has been diagnosed with Autism and his condition has caused some concern for Abe and Lexie. This storyline was featured on NBC's 'Today Show' with the head writer of Days of our Lives and the actors currently portraying Abe and Lexie on June 24, 2008. He has one paternal half-brother, Brandon Walker.

J.J. Deveraux

Jack "J.J." Patrick Deveraux Jr. was portrayed by Tyler Lake (2004 to 2005), Nick and Jave Ravo (2004 to 2005), and Jacob and Micah Reeves (2005 to 2006). Jack, Jr. is the son of Jennifer and Jack Deveraux. He was born September 2, 2004, on the Island of Melaswen when Jennifer was kidnapped by Andre DiMera. He is the only son and youngest child of Jack and Jennifer. Abby Deveraux is his older sister.

Johnny DiMera

John "Johnny" Roman DiMera has also been portrayed by an unknown actor since 2007.John Roman was born October 23, 2007 to Sami Brady and EJ Wells. Originally believed to be the son of Lucas Roberts due to a previous in utero blood test, he was named after Sami's father Roman Brady and her step father, the late John Black. After his birth a second blood test was performed when EJ noticed that Johnny did not look like his sister and the twins could have two fathers. EJ's suspicions were correct. The second test revealed EJ to be the father.

Johnny's paternal grandfather, Stefano DiMera is currently pushing to meet his grandson and insisting EJ raise Johnny as a DiMera against Sami's wishes. His full name is still in question. Johnny has two maternal half-siblings, Will Roberts and Allie Horton. He will soon have two more siblings, EJ is currently expecting a child with both Johnny's mother Sami as well as with new girlfriend Nicole. Both babies are due within weeks of each other.

Andrew Donovan

Andrew Shawn Donovan IV was portrayed by Robert Eliot Canko (1986 to 1988), Brandon Amber (1988 to 1989), Justin Page (1989), Sky Rumph (1989 to 1990), Bradley Michael Pierce (1990 to 1991), and Brian Davila (1991 to 1992).Andrew Donovan was born onscreen in West Virginia on May 151986. He is the eldest son of Shane Donovan and Kimberly Brady. When he was born they believed he was Victor Kiriakis's child because Kimberly had slept with Victor to secure Shane's freedom, and it wasn't until long after the baby was born that they learned the truth. As a baby, he was kidnapped by Emma Marshall, and adopted by Paul and Barbara Stewart. Even after Barbara realized he was Kimberly's son she chose to keep him, but luckily Shane discovered the truth. When Kimberly and Shane divorced, she took the children and left Salem. She has one full sibling Jeannie Donovan and one paternal half-sister, Eve Donovan.

Jeannie Donovan

Jeannie Caroline Donovan was portrayed by Hannah Taylor Simmons (1990 - 1991), Emily and Alicia Pillatzke (1991 - 1992), Caitlin Wachs (1992), and Gabriella Massari (1992).Jeannie Donovan is the only daughter of Kimberly and Shane. Born onscreen September 3 1990, she was originally believed to be Cal Winter's daughter, but blood tests proved her to be Shane's. Jeannie lives with her mother. She has one older brother, Andrew and a paternal half-sister, Eve Donovan.

Allie Horton

Alice "Allie" Caroline Horton has been portrayed by an unknown actor since 2008.Alice Caroline "Allie" Horton is the only daughter of Sami and Lucas. She was born October 232007 at her grandmother Marlena's house, delivered by Marlena. Ali went for several weeks without a name until the Thanksgiving Day wedding of Shawn and Belle where Lucas announced her name. This was a shock to Sami because Lucas did not consult her on the name. She is named after her two great-grandmothers, Alice Horton and Caroline Brady. Allie has two siblings, a brother William "Will" Roberts and her maternal half-brother John "Johnny" DiMera, who is her twin brother. She will soon have another half-sibling in the upcoming months.

Joe Johnson

Joseph "Joe" Johnson' has been portrayed by a doll since 2008. Joe is the son of Kayla Brady Johnson and her husband Steve Johnson. He was born very early on May 16, 2008, and is currently living in the hospital. He has one older sister, Stephanie Johnson.

Joe was finally to be brought home and then he was kidnapped by Stefano Dimera.

Will Roberts

William "Will" Reed Roberts was portrayed by Shawn and Taylor Carpenter (1995-02), Darien Weiss (2002-03), and Christopher Gerse (2003-2007).Will was born on screen November 16, 1995. He is the son of Sami Brady and Lucas Roberts. Originally believed to be the son of Austin Reed, it was later found out that the he was actually Lucas' son and Sami had lied about his paternity. Over the past decade Will has been involved in various custody disputes between his parents. He is frequently hurt by the schemes of his mother and her rival, Lucas's mother, Will's grandmother, Kate Roberts.

In the summer of 2006, Will ran away from home, embarrassed that his mother had jilted Austin at the altar and worried that his peers would make fun of him at school as they had done in the past when Sami's ill conceived schemes got out of hand. He went to Chicago but returned when he ran out of food money.

Will's presence in Salem has always been that of pawn for his parents' emotional games. Will has been kidnapped, used as a tool for Sami and Lucas to hurt each other, and has generally spent life in the middle of his parents' on again, off again relationship.

In the summer of 2007 he was sent to live with his Uncle Austin and Aunt Carrie in Switzerland. It was decided in November 2007, after a brush with police, Will's life would be better lived back in Switzerland with Carrie and Austin. Will has two younger siblings, a younger sister Alice "Allie" Horton and a maternal half-brother John "Johnny" DiMera. He will soon have another half-sibling in the upcoming months.
