Karuna Hospice Services

Karuna Hospice Services or simply Karuna, is a registered charity organisation, accredited with the Australian Council of Healthcare Standards which provides home based palliative care for people with a terminal illness. Its service is based on Buddhist values of compassion and care. Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama visited Karuna Hospice Services as part of his 2007 Australia tour, launching also the community project Kindness Week at Australia Zoo, an initiative of Karuna. Karuna Hospice Services is located within the Rosemount Hospital Complex in Windsor, Queensland, Australia.
