"'Raffles International Christian School" is an international school in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, Indonesia.

History

Raffles International Christian School (RICS) was started on July 2005 by the Yayasan Pendidikan Kristen Ora et Labora. It was the first international school started by the foundation and is the international wing of the Ora et Labora schools.

Curriculum

The school is a certified Cambridge Centre for International Examinations (CIE) offering an international curriculum in the IGCSE and International A-level examinations and a member of the Association for International Christian Schools (ACSI).

The school also provides the Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) which is one of the world's most recognized university preparation program which guarantees entry into a range of universities worldwide.

Achievements

RICS is ranked the No 2 school in Indonesia this year, for the number of Brilliance Awards presented to a school for the 2007 IGCSE examinations. The Brilliance Award is awarded by the Cambridge International Examination (CIE) to the top Indonesian student for each subject. RICS was awarded the Brilliance Award for English, A. Maths, Accounting and Business Studies.

Students from RICS strongly outperformed global benchmarks for the subjects that they sat for.
