Career

When she was 17, Jadyn was signed to EMI. [cite web|url=http://myspace.com/officialjadynmaria|title=MySpace.com - Jadyn Maria|accessdate=2007-11-01] Under the name "Jadyn Strand", she sang alongside Avalon band member Jody McBrayer in the song "Never Alone (Nunca Solo)" on his 2002 solo album, "This is Who I Am". Later, she recorded a cover of U2's "With or Without You" with GRITS on the U2 tribute album "".

"Choices"

Jadyn Maria recorded her album "Choices" for a 2004 release on the Christian record lable Sparrow Records. The album included her songs "Choices," "Love Don't Love," and "I Fall to You." The record was delayed when Jadyn followed fellow christian pop artist, Stacie Orrico, to Virgin records. Shortly thereafter the record was scratched completely and Jadyn was left without a record deal.

"The One"

In 2006 Jadyn appeared on the failed ABC talent show . The show was canceled the week after Jadyn's elimination.

Acting

In 2004 Jadyn appeared in an episode of "What I Like About You" called "Split Ends", where she played herself. The episode advertised her song "Rock you senseless" which was used for a herbal essenses advert.
